Privacy Policy

dhrive is built and operated by Cyos Technologies LTDA (we, us). This policy explains what we collect when you use dhrive.app (the Site) and the dhrive desktop app (the App), and the rights you have over that data.

The short version

dhrive runs on your Mac. Your projects, code and conversations stay there and are never sent to us. Your account holds only your email and name, and Polar handles payment. The App contacts us to check for updates and to check your account. The Site has no analytics and no tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

What we collect

On the Site (dhrive.app)

• Your account, if you create one: your email, your name if you sign in with Google, and when you signed up. Sign-in runs on Neon, and signing in with Google shares your name and email with us.
• When you subscribe: Polar, which sells and bills dhrive, receives your email and account id and takes the payment itself. We never see your card.
• Standard server logs from our host (Netlify), such as IP address and user agent, kept briefly to operate and secure the Site.
• What you choose to send through the feedback form: your message, an optional screenshot, and an optional email so we can reply.
• Messages you send us by email.

In the App (dhrive)

• The App asks you to sign in to your dhrive account. It keeps a sign-in token in your Mac’s Keychain and asks dhrive.app, a few times a day, whether your free days or your subscription are active. It keeps your list of projects, their conversations, and the session ids of the CLIs it drives in its own folder on your Mac.
• To check for updates, the App asks dhrive.app whether a newer version exists. Like any web request, it carries your IP address and the App’s version, and nothing about your projects.
• dhrive drives the AI coding CLIs you installed (Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity). Your prompts and the code they read go to that CLI’s provider, under that provider’s privacy terms. We are not in that path.
• With local models, the App talks only to the Ollama server on your Mac. Downloading a model fetches it from Ollama’s registry, under Ollama’s terms.

Cookies

The Site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in, which the account needs to work. This is why you do not see a cookie consent banner.

What we do not do

• No advertising or third-party tracking.
• No selling or renting of personal data.
• No access to your source code, prompts or conversations.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we process the limited data above on the basis of legitimate interest (operating and securing the Site and the update service), contract (your account and subscription) and consent (feedback you choose to send).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (the EU and EEA under the GDPR, Brazil under the LGPD, California under the CCPA, and others), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at hey@dhrive.app and we will respond.

Data retention

Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept briefly under our host’s retention terms. Feedback and email are kept while they help us answer you and improve dhrive, and are deleted on request. Everything the App stores stays on your Mac, and forgetting a project in the App deletes its conversation.

International transfers

Our providers (Netlify for the Site, Neon for accounts, Polar for payments, Supabase for feedback, GitHub for downloads) may process data in the United States and other regions, under their respective data-processing safeguards.

We will update this page if our practices change, and revise the date above.
